Metochi Beach

A stunning beach, approximately one hour from Kymi

Although Metochi Beach is located about an hour away from Kymi, the beautiful journey to get there makes you forget about the distance and simply enjoy the view.

It is a large beach with crystal-clear waters, usually with minimal crowds, ideal for relaxation and unforgettable vacations.

At the beach, there is a beach bar with sunbeds and a few umbrellas, and there are also two taverns where you can enjoy fresh fish, seafood, grilled dishes, and traditionally cooked meals.

Attention: The road for the last 4 kilometers is quite narrow, so be cautious when encountering other vehicles. Additionally, the sea depth increases abruptly.
Extra Information: On the left edge of the beach, there is a rock called “Petinos” that is partially submerged in the water. According to the locals, there is a cave where, until recently, there was a large iron ring used by pirates to tie their ships.
